Savannah International Academy offers boarding for students aged 10 to 18 years, welcoming both boys and girls into a safe, structured and nurturing home away from home. Boarding life at SIA is designed to foster independence, responsibility and strong friendships, all within a caring environment where students are supported academically, socially and emotionally around the clock.
Our boarders' wellbeing is a top priority. A school nurse is on duty 24/7, with a partner hospital on hand to respond quickly to any medical emergencies. Combined with 24/7 security on campus, parents can rest assured their children are safe, cared for and supported at all times, day or night.
Set within a serene and conducive environment, our boarding facilities give students the peace and space they need to rest, study and thrive outside the classroom.
Our boarding houses are equipped with Starlink internet access, giving boarders reliable connectivity for research, project work and academic support, even beyond the classroom day. To keep learning uninterrupted, our facilities are also supported by a backup power plant and solar power, ensuring boarders have consistent access to electricity and connectivity at all times.
One of the highlights of boarding life is the Boarders' Principal Barbecue, a relaxed, informal gathering where boarders get the chance to sit down one-on-one with the Principal, share their experiences, and build a genuine personal connection with school leadership.
Regular, unannounced inspections are carried out across our boarding houses to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and discipline, giving parents peace of mind that their children are well cared for at all times.
Boarders also take part in organised trips to educational sites and events, broadening their learning beyond the school campus and exposing them to new experiences, ideas and environments.
