Our History

Discover the remarkable journey that brought SIA to where it stands today as a beacon of quality education and innovation.

After 18 years of studying, working and living in the UK, Mrs Sardia Mould returned to her secondary education alma mater in Tamale, Ghana and was shocked by the state and level of education being provided, which was far from the quality and excellence she had experienced at the institution. With a passion for supporting young people on their path to exploration and critical thinking, Mrs Mould began a journey to provide a level of education that was not only reminiscent of the one she had received but went further to craft a curriculum that aims to bridge the educational gap between the northern and southern parts of Ghana.

One that prepared young people to reach their full potential and leave school as dynamic contributors to their communities, country and the world. With the guidance, mentorship and support of other passionate individuals like Dr. Sulley Gariba of blessed memory (Policy analyst and Evaluation expert), Dr. William J.N.L Mould (Investment banker and businessman), Dr. Titi Ofei (former Principal of SOS – Hermann Gmeiner International College and currently the Principal of International Community School), Mr. Isaac Sam (Field/Work Title), Senyo Gyandu (CEO, CDC Consult), Joel Nettey (CEO, Ninani Group) and countless others, SIA opened its doors to students in September 2018, in a small rental property in Tamale, with 8 students and 3 teachers. The project was conceived and the company registered in 2011.

Today SIA boasts (number of students), (number of teachers) on a sprawling campus in the heart of Tamale. A dream realised of providing an academically nurturing and socially enriching environment for young minds to be well rounded members of society.
