Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry to students at IGCSE and A-Level, in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive, engaging, and effective lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
- Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including the use of technology, to enhance the learning experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive and cohesive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience teaching Chemistry at IGCSE and A-Level (Cambridge International Curriculum preferred).
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies in the classroom.

Job Description: Chemistry Teacher
Position Overview:
The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for teaching Chemistry at IGCSE and A-Level, ensuring students develop a strong foundation in the subject and excel in their examinations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Chemistry and a commitment to fostering academic success in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons at IGCSE and A-Level, aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Lesson Planning: Create comprehensive lesson plans that cater to various learning abilities, ensuring all students can succeed.
- Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through tests, assignments, and other forms of evaluation, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.
- Examination Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for their IGCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring excellent performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the science department and other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Technology Integration: Use technology and innovative teaching strategies, including EdTech, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Student Support: Offer additional support to students who need extra help understanding challenging Chemistry concepts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the IGCSE and A-Level.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum.
